Calling all New Mexico Filmmakers!
Join us on August 1st for the Dive-In Movies Film Fiesta, hosted by Sopapilla Productions, Dust Wave, and Hotel Zazz. This unique film festival invites you to submit your short film (under 10 minutes) for a chance to be showcased poolside at the stunning Hotel Zazz in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Swim, mingle with fellow filmmakers, and enjoy a curated selection of films under the stars. The pool opens at 7 PM, and the screenings begin at sunset. Awards announced at the end of the screenings!
Submit your film by July 10th for a chance to have it shown at this special event. Submission is free! Films must be under 10 minutes, and each selected filmmaker will receive two free tickets to the festival.

Prizes
3rd Place — A sweet trophy and admiration and recognition from your peers.
2nd Place — A similarly sweet trophy and possibly more admiration and recognition from your peers (no guarantees though).
1st Place — The coolest trophy of all, and the most admiration and recognition from your peers.
Rules
- Films submitted must be under 10 minutes in length including credits
- Producer or director must be a current resident of the State of New Mexico
- Filmmakers must be 18 years or older to submit
- Maximum of 5 submissions per filmmaker
- Submission period is from March 21, 2026 at 9AM MT to July 10, 2025 at 11:59PM MT
- Selected films will be notified on or around July 17, 2026
- Winners will be announced at the screening on August 1, 2026
